Lyzzie is an indie-pop artist with a lot to say. Having been inspired by strong female artists like The CHVRCHES and Billie Eilish, Lyzzie has been writing music with a darker twist that taps into some of the rawest and deeper emotions experienced by people. For her music is a healing tool, one that can help people sort through their emotions and get over hardships. The first time she began using music like that was after she faced a serious injury at age 11 which took her out of the sport of gymnastics.
Since that time Lyzzie has thrown herself into her music and has slowly been honing her writing and performance skills over time. Having started her music journey with the House Band at the School of Rock of Markham, she spent quite a few months touring around different venues and performing. During her high school years, she also performed with her uncle’s band, which allowed her to explore many different music genres.
Through all of these experiences, Lyzzie settled into her own artistic self and is now ready to release her debut 4 song EP. This EP is a clear indication of all of her hard work and can be seen as a glimpse into the type of music that Lyzzie will continue to put out into the world.
