Sepps, a Toronto-born recording artist and songwriter with East African roots, particularly in Ethiopia, has unveiled his latest masterpiece, the single "Animosity." Drawing influences from a diverse musical spectrum, including Rap/Hip Hop, Soul, Slow Jams, RnB, Pop, Reggae, and Dancehall, Sepps has crafted a unique sound characterized by a groove-inducing flow.
Initiating his musical journey at the age of 9 by penning lyrics, Sepps was unwavering in his determination to pursue a career in the industry. From an internship at Koch Records to behind-the-scenes roles and participation in an apprenticeship program, he paved the way for the establishment of his independent record label, "Da Commission."
Maintaining autonomy in his musical pursuits, Sepps operates as the sole proprietor of his record label, diligently working on numerous projects to ensure their presence across various platforms. Despite facing delays in the release of three major hit singles in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these tracks finally emerged in 2021.
On September 9, 2022, Sepps unveiled his debut EP/Album, "Miscellaneous," followed by the release of the single "My Enemy" on June 26, 2023, which garnered significant attention and streams globally.
